About Us

Jeffrey's Grocery is a West Village neighborhood restaurant with a focus on seafood and American fare. Our selection of oysters changes daily, and we have a full raw bar menu. We are open all day, seven days a week. On weekdays, stop by for breakfast, takeaway drip coffee, lunch and Oyster Happy Hour (4- 6 pm). On weekends, come in for brunch with friends or a late night bite. Or join us for dinner seven days a week.

Jeffrey's Grocery is proud to donate our oyster shells to the Billion Oyster Project, an ecosystem restoration and education project that aims to restore New York Harbor and reconnect New Yorkers to the water.

Jeffrey's Grocery is part of the Happy Cooking Hospitality family of restaurants, which includes favorite New York City neighborhood spots Joseph Leonard, Fedora, Fairfax, and bar Sardine.  Simon & The Whale, Studio and George Washington Bar can all be found within the Freehand Hotel in the Gramercy neighborhood with our newest location, The Jones, in NoHo.
